Concourse mk1 10 - 12k

Hi all hope I have posted this in right place. I noticed last night that at forthcoming auction this weekend there is a mk1 UK mx5 in concourse condition up for sale guided at 10-12k full details on web site below.

There are p!entry of pictures among them of when it was on a club stand at a indoor car show also in one of them a list of awards it has won including standard mk1 at spring rally 2011 & concourse winner at national rally 2011 among many others .

Is the owner still a club member?  Hope you all enjoy having a look at it , me and my son Chris will be there will try and take some photos and will let you all know how much it goes for . Steve.

That used to belong to Ian McHattie, the club’s car competition co-ordinator.

I think he sold it earlier this year.

If I drive it up my track for a few months it will take any concourse nonsense off any car.

Sorry cars are for driving not the nonsense Ian used to do like bringing it to events in a covered trailer.

The nonsense stuff that got me over a five figures sum for it.

Yes he is ,Speedy is your man that had the Menders passion to build her and is still a member and big cheese looking after the judging comps section…

Hey Ian…You’re wanted buddy to talk polish and stuff ;0).

M-m

Yes I’m the guilty one, Sold it at the NEC Restoration show in March the buyer is now selling it on. We keep in touch and I had first refusal

You done a grand job Ian I dread to think how much you spent to get her like that. Out of curiosity would you be prepared to say how much the vendor offered it to you ?

Had my fun with her and she has financed my new 1989  20,000 mile Mk1 import so I had to say no unfortunately to buying her back, the boss was threatening all sorts, sorry cannot remember how much it was !!

Bidding start price £8000 plus fees of £960

Auction today at 12.30 any one fancy a punt ?

watching live, currently at lot 110, and its lot 122…

went for £8200.00 so far as I can tell, the live stream crashed.!

Blinkin live stream crashed at the start, pretty sure my other half cut the switch.

Made £8200 and Not Sold

Yeah, glad I wasn’t bidding, very dodgy connection!

Hi all just got back from the auction. The last bid was £8200 not sold as below reserve. It still looked like new.Steve
