Correct speed rating for tyres

First post so please be kind, only recently joined the MX5 family.

I have searched the forum but have not found the answer I’m looking for.

According to the Mazda hand book my MK 2 1.8i '03 should have 185/60R 14 82V

On the car are 82H rated tyres, 3 xP6000 and 1 x Macarroni(rear).

I was looking to replace the rear 2 to be rid of the Mac and then got confused as there seems to be dearth of V rated tyres in that size.

Also most tyre sites list the correct fitment for my car as H rating.

Confused, so I’ll not ask which is the favoured tyre make at this point.

TIA.

It doesn’t matter on an MX5 as long as it is H or V as they are good for 130mph and 149mph respectively and that’s way above what the car is capable of.

What is more important is reasonable quality tyres and ideally a matched set for the best all round performance.

I just had some Dunlop Fast Response 82h 14’s fitted to one of my 5’s and the are the best overall 14’s I have had fitted. Cheap too, a round the £50 mark fitted and Dunlop are doing a cash back promo at the moment, £20 cash back per pair of tyres so even cheaper!
