Good afternoon all, first time poster here. Got an NC1 1.8 in the garage with a knackered crank currently looking for a replacement, having trouble finding one from the same engine. Does anyone know whether the 1.8 and 2l engines share a common crank?

They are the same stroke but the crank part numbers are different.

When you consider the bore of the 1.8 is smaller than the 2.0 by 4.5mm - the crank will have less counterbalance to suit the lighter pistons.
