Some of the club’s early members may remember a company called Dandy Cars that ceased to exist a good few years ago.
I seem to recall they were infamous for their roof fitting, does any one know where Dandy cars purchased the roofs from ?

I was told it was this company, they go under several different names.
There is this website of theirs but it doesn’t seem to work.

CtC still do Mk1 hoods for self application though, nor do they do frames.
Speak to Madelene, as in Banned Biker’s second link.

I’m local to Dandy Cars, and used them a few times before they sold up. I can confirm that Car Trmming Co. also known as Mazda hood shop supplied thier hoods. I have one fitted by them in Romford. They also trade on ebay, and I believe the owner is or was a member here. Always a copy of HTST on thier coffee table.
God knows where Horse and Hound came from. I typed the initials to Hard Top, Soft Top.
Was that also the fact when the Asian lads bought it and ran it before killing it???
M-m
It was the Asian lads that pointed me towards Romford when I wanted mine replaced. When they sold the buisness on, there was money owing to the club for advertising which the new owners wouldn’t pay. Without the advertising, the mx5’s stopped going and the buisiness moved on without us.
