DAS-6 Dual Action Car Polisher

ive been looking for a DSA-6 dual action polisher, but at a loss which one to buy and which accessories to buy with it. Any advise would be good.

I recently saw a maquires dual action polisher being used at the Norfolk fives detailing day, the results were very good and the guy using it said it was the one to have, it costs around £150 though, hope this helps.

I’ve found Polished Bliss very helpful when it comes to detailing products, I usually ring them to discuss a product , delivery is free in the UK

Well,

I tried a £40 Halfords double acting polisher at the weekend with two handles, nothing wrong with being a cheapskate.

It jumped out of my hands twice and landed sunny side down on the ground on both occasions.

Back to the drawing board!!!

Hi Go for the das6 pro. As it has a slightly more powerful motor than the das6 and will not bog down as easily. These machines have an 8mm throw. I usually use 4 and 5.5 inch Hex logic pads. And either Meguires 105/205 or poor boys ssr (super swirl remover) 2.5/2.0 or 1.0. I usually only use 2.0, or 2.5 if there are more serious defects. They also do 3.0 for really bad defects but this I usually follow with 2.0 coupled to orange, white, green or blue Hexlogic pads (in that order). There is a new machine out called the das6 pro plus, It is bigger and more powerful with a 14mm throw. However it is not really suited to smaller pads but you can get the smaller backing plates. After all the polishing try fusso sealant topped with AG hd wax My galaxy grey sparkles with this combo. I would recommend CYC (clean your car) the discount code is dw05 and you will get a little off.Be very careful if you buy machines, polish or clay bars from Amazon or E-bay there are a lot of fakes on line.
