Anyone in two minds whether to have a dealer fit new springs or let somewhere like WIM do it may want to have a look HERE
Pretty shocking stuff.

No contest. Stealers are in it for the ca$h, WIM are in it for the owner’s driving experience.
I was actually THERE when this happened- was going to write it up on here but thought the owner might want to. It was unbelievable - especially listening in to the calls WIM made to the dealer where the service manager basically implied it was a lie and they weren’t going to do anything about it. I thought the owner stayed remarkably calm considering his car could have dropped on its axles at any point on his way down - I would be suing for sure: gross and surely criminal negligence.
I had to chuckle when I read the bit about the dealer questioning the wisdom of travelling that far to have the alignment checked.[^o)]
I had no hesitation in taking Katie’s Ford Ka to have all the top mounts done there, even though the Ford dealer who diagnosed what was needed is 2 mins away and WIM is a 2 hour drive. Not only did I save money, but I knew a good job and a proper alignment would be done. That is what I was doing on the day this poor chap got his car up on the ramp to find two important bolts missing!
I would urge anyone having alignment/suspension work done to their cars to skip the dealer and get it done safely and professionally by Tony and crew.
seconded cant wait to get my set up done at WIM in march on the discount sunday!
Unbelievable story!!! How DO these people get away with it???
WIMs get my vote everytime.
No one else goes near my suspension and Geo.
I was there yesterday to identify an annoying creak and top services as always. Couldn’t recommend Tony highly enough.
