Debadging a mk2.5

Yesterday, removed the Arizona badges from the side of my 2.5.  Definitely looks cleaner.

Used some dental floss, a store card and some WD40 to help clean up post.  All good stuff.

 

Then I had a brainwave and decided to do the rear.

Started with the MX5 badge.  Same process, came off fine.  Unfortunately, the MX5 badge is NOT only held on with adhesive.  Removing the badge has left 2 small halls (balls is the appropriate phrase).

I think that my solution will be a GB badge over the top of the holes, but thought that it would be worth mentioning on here for anyone else who might be thinking of it.

good idea to cover with another badge etc , I have an Nc just de-badged mine I was lucky only Mazda main logo was held on by not just adhesive so other badges easy just dental floss and hair dryer . As for Mazda logo i have plasti dip badges in Matt black looks fab , if you want a different look and want to keep badges on plasti dip I can recommend , sorry no pics just thought I would mention
