Hi guys I’ve got a 2001 NB and I bought it relatively cheap due to a dent in the drivers door and front wing. I’ve attached photo. Does anybody have any idea how I could remove this fold in the bodywork? Thanks.
Tack weld a ‘pin’ to the exact point of the indentation contact and use a slide hammer to gently and carefully reverse the impact. Then hammer and dolly to a point where filler is your friend? !!! Perhaps!!!
Obviously I am not qualified in this area so don’t rush in until an expert pops up with the correct method.
Have you tried sourcing another wing and door for that matter?
Any good body shop will sort that out.
That method sounds a little too advanced for me I was just curious as to wether I’d be able to do it on my own but I think I will just take it down to a body shop. Thanks
