Detailing near Leeds?

What have you done to your MX-5 today? (Part 2)

Spent a day or two washing, polishing and coating my Sport Black. After washing I used a clay bar to get all the old road grime out so the paintwork was smooth, then polished the car with Britemax Black Max polish. I then removed all the excess polish off with Gtech panel wipe. Finally a coat of Gyeon Q2 Cancoat. I was quoted over £300 for detailing my NC…
I did my own (details above) and the detailing products were off Ebay for just under £120. I bought a polisher from Halfords when they had them at discount.

Preparation is the key, and don’t let your MX get wet for 24 hours after you apply the Gyeon-Q2 Can Coat👍.

Thanks, but I don’t have the patience, hence my question! I prefer driving over polishing…

So do I, but for a couple of hundred quid saving, I sacrificed a days driving when the weather was grey👍
