My model of MX-5 is: 2.0L ND1
I’m based near: _Glasgow
I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: the diff oil/transmission oil.
I’ve been through various forums and posts on this website.
I hate starting another thread but there’s quite a few recommendations on the oil to use.
Castrol Transmax Universal 75W-90 1L : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive - Castrol Transmax Universal 75w 90
Castrol Transmax Manual Multivehicle 75W-90 1L : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive - Castrol Transmax Multivehicle 75w 90
Would these be fine to use? Figured the transmission and diff oil has never been changed (picked the car up last year) and now around 43k miles so want to get this done ASAP.
Cheers.

The second link, multivehicle, if you’re going the Castrol route for the gearbox

Those choices are fine…
Order
1 x 1ltr bottle for the diff in your first link. 2 x 1ltr bottles for the gear box in your 2nd link.
Make sure it’s to spec GL4 for the gear box whatever choice you make re brand.
