DIY Windblocker

I thought I would share an idea I had on how to make your own windblocker.

I used an office seat back support, available from office supply shops as shown below.

I cut the two strengthening straps and left the elasticated one to use to fasten to the style bar. You need to be pretty strong for the bending of the frame as it is metal.

I found it best to do this by using a bench vice, and doing a bit of twisting and pulling on the floor supported with my knees. I then cut the elasticated strap, and found a plastic buckle from one of my sons old school bags. Fastened it on and stitched one half on the strap.

Fitted it to the style bars, and it works extremely well.
