But like Betty Blue she’s very sexy and I fancy her…(I may never have Betty Blue in my life but I have got my Betty).

Mine is called Pheonix, I had a MK1 dakar in the past and sadly it got written off, I then switched to owning a 2.8 BMW Z3, but have since bout an identical MK1 Dakar MX5 and aptly named it Pheonix as its reborn from the ashes of the other 5.

Mitzi, so named because “Mitzi” is a diminutive for Maria and another diminutive for Maria is “Maz”, which is short for…Mazda. Agonisingly tenuous!

I have an unhealthy obsession with Grace Park so my old ford puma was called grace. My first Mx-5 (Mk1) was called Kono because of her character in the remake Hawaii five-o. Unfortunately she was written off by Muppet who pulled out in front of me at T-Junction. Still haven’t settled on name for my new five!

My ND is called Talia, a bit of a hark to Babylon 5. I like the name + talia winters was psy corps and they wore black and my ND is black.
my wife calls it the MLC as in mid life crisis
I call it my toy/little/fun car
but no actual name
My son-in-law calls my MX5 Max; but when young he used to own a large, energetic, affectionate, too clever by half, and very hairy dog called Max. So I assume his name for my car is well meant.
