Does an IL Motorsport Rear Chassis Brace replace the original brace bars

Hi.
My rear chassis brace bars are shot and are to be replaced when Tizzy goes for her stay at MX5 Restorers in March.
However, thinking of adding the IL Motorsport Rear Chassis Brace.

Question: Does anyone know if this goes over the top of the original rear brace bars or does it replace them? No brainer if it replaces them!!!

installation instructions on the ILmotorsport website.

The existing braces remain and the IL version is in addition to.

I think the installation instructions/pictures show existing braces being removed and replaced with the aftermarket ones.

I think the conclusion is that is does not replace the existing rear braces.
