Looking forward to seeing you all at Donington, the track where my late grandmother was a motorbike marshall at Redgate Corner in the 1980s through into her late 60s. 
I’ll dig out the photos!

They think it’s all over…it is now…sadly.
Just a short note to thank everyone involved for another splendid and memorable Donington Classic Festival.
The new position of the club stand was excellent and all of the cars gleemed in the sunshine (for Friday and Saturday anyway).
It was great to catch up with old friends and to make new ones over the course of the weekend.
This is a superb event for anyone considering going in the future.
It’s relaxed, not too crowded with brilliant access to all manner of racing machinery in the paddock.
Many car clubs with heaps of shiny autos to wander around and admire to boot.
The race card is full with cars of all eras from pre-war stuff to GT3s of the early noughties and everything in between.
F1 demos and supercar passenger rides in the gaps too.
Thanks again to the NEM for putting on a marvellous event and providing a warm welcome.
