Door-lock switch and Drive Off Autolock

Hi,

Been lurking for a few months after ordering a 2.0 RF Sport Nav+ which I picked up last weekend - very pleased 

I’m trying to get the auto door lock on drive off (over 12mph) working, but it refers to the interior door lock switch. Looking in the manual this is shown as next to the window lock switch - but I only have a window lock switch that takes up both positions (if that makes sense).

Tried using the keyboard buttons instead, but didn’t make the prescribed beeps. So wondering if there’s something I’m missing?

Auto lock = ON is the default setting isn’t it?  Have you determined whether it is on already?

Yes, function 3 (Autolock over 12mph / auto unlock on ignition off) is stated as the default in the owner handbook. But there’s definitely no locking taking place.

Only 6 days old so I’m prepared to get the dealer to take a look - but thus is the sort of thing I’d rather do myself if possible.

Hmm, mine has never auto-locked and I didn’t think it was possible, i’ll have to have a dig around the settings.

Are you sure that auto-lock is specced in our market.

There is an ‘*’ indicating ‘some models’. Our version does not have all the features in the manual and I believe this is one of them.

You are probably right.  Mine does not have the door lock switch shown in the manual.  I hadn’t paid any attention to whether it locked or not.
