You might want to put a bit more detail, but in short, find a complete replacement door mirror unit and replace the whole unit, as it is a plug-in item, once you have removed the screws.
If you can find a good second hand one in the same colour, then that will save you time and money, it’s what I did.

Running up the middle of the mirror is a sacrificial shaft.
In the event of a collision, the shaft will snap. I guess to avoid damage to the door.
If you’re handy you may be able to fabricate something, or reassemble the mirror with a long bolt.
Or find a second hand unit on eBay.
They seem to command top dollar though compared to other vehicles.
