Leaving Sprucefield on 12 September at 9:45 sharp:
Driving through Dromara heading to the windy gap for a view of the Mournes, before heading to our first Castle in Dundrum.
From there we will proceed to Inch Abbey for a short stop, then on to the Quoile River car-park for a picnic Lunch and comfort break.
After lunch we head to the Downpatrick Gaol for a tour of the site.
The next stop will be Killyleagh for a photo opportunity of the castle.
The final stop before before Dinner will be Audley’s Castle, before finally arriving at Paddy’s Barn for Dinner.
Look out for a few other surprises along the way.
This promises to be an interesting and action packed day and is one not to be missed. All of our runs have been well received and well supported throughout the year with a good number of new Club members, as well as some of the long established ones who have joined us on a couple of events for the first time in a few years. It would be good to see many of you return again for this event.
