Drive the Deal; any bad experiences?

I’m now nearly at the point where I may be shopping for an RF Automatic, and I’ve noticed that the Drive the Deal price is only a bit more than the asking prices on ex-demos from the Mazda dealers.

So, I’d just like to ask if anyone has had or has heard of any bad experiences with DtD’s services?.

Thanks.

Not actually purchased a car via DTD, but have taken their quote, and shown it to my local dealer, and they have matched it when buying a new car.

I know of several who have used them. None.had a bad word.

I think the price might include delivery , although the last one I know of picked his up from the supplying dealer.

I have bought a Jaguar XFS through DTD with no problems what so ever. The car was supplied through a main dealer in Exeter and when collected I was treated as any normal Jag customer.

I bought my Arctic through them this year and chose a quote from a garage fairly near me ( not quite the cheapest) as I thought that it was better if I had any problems. The transaction was easy and I had no problems.

Ive bought 4 or 5 cars through them and they have always been very good, even send me champagne at Christmas!

I often take their quote and go to my local dealership to see if they can match it (naturally id like to support my local dealership).

It’s coming up to the end of the month. Dealers are focused on bonuses so go for it. You’ll be surprised by the discount…

Thank you all for your replies - not a bad word said against them then, which is reassuring . Smile

I agree that it’s a good idea to offer a local dealer the chance to match their price.

I’ve used Carfile.net previously. It’s local to me but that’s not really relevent as it’s all done on the phone. First time I’ve used a broker and all went smoothly, bonus that the car I purchased was also available locally, well a shortish bus ride away

They have the RF auto @£25,155 I don’t know whether that’s a good deal or not??

Bought my ND from them last year, £2K off list price, would have delivered, but I chose to collect so they (the dealer) paid my train fare, excellent service, and my local dealer has welcomed me with open arms for service etc. Strongly recommended.

That’s not bad Mick, but not as good as DtD; thanks for making me aware of Carfile.
