Drivers seat. Repair/replace

  1. My model of MX-5 is: _Mk 3.5 2009_Roadster Spt Tech
  2. I’m based near: Braintree. Essex
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: _Repair or replacement. Black leather, heated driver’s seat. The front offside of the seat drops by about an inch. Can be pulled up to the correct position but, sit on it and it drops back down._I’ve had the seat out and checked for damage/breaks and can’t see anything untoward.

I believe they might be height adjustable on that year, so maybe the fault is something to do with this.

You could well be right Keat63. Rake, height, and f’wd and aft movements are all good. The seat is secure and in good condition…just drops by about an inch and a half on the door side!
