Is there anyone going to Duxford on Sunday 1st from the Fenland Area, Nr Wisbech? If so are you flying in formation and if so would like a wing-man for the journey?

It’s the side with Starbucks and Subway on it, if you’re on the side with Little Chef you’re on the wrong side!!

We’ll be meeting there about 8:30am to leave at 8:45am.

Just look for a couple of mk1’s (one silver, the other red with white stripes), a blue mk2 and a metalic grey Mk3.

That should not be a problem. We have a couple of cars no longer coming so are still hovering around the 100 mark although perhaps not all the interested parties will turn up, should still be a great turn-out and good weather is forecast.

I will at the ‘fourwentways’ little chef at 09:00, as I am picking up my grandson ‘Harvey’ from his mother. Harvey will be handing out ‘Souvenir’ bookmarks to the first 100 MX5’s at Duxford when we are all parked up.

I’m already signed up to bring my MX-5 Icon but my son Michael wants to bring his MX-5 (with his girlfriend) too.

Last time we had a plot which we made a great effort to fill, I have asked for more space so we will probably be okay with another one.

Fear not though, even if we fill up, there will be acres of space if previous years are anything to go by.
