When: 12th June 2016
Arrive at 10am and depart at 10.45
A run from Pease Pottage Services RH11 9AE to Bentley Motor Museum & Wildfowl Park BN8 5AF via East Grinstead and Ashdown Forest.
We have just been informed that Southern Classic Car Club are holding an event at Bentley on the 12th also with over 100 classic cars on display so this should add to a great day out.
We are also told the house may be opened for a short period of time at no extra cost.
Bentley museum houses a unique collection of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles which span over 100 years of road transport history.
Also the wildfowl area has over 2,000 birds of approximately 130 different spepcies from around the world. A miniature railway can take you around the extensive grounds.
There is a tea room where you can enjoy delicious snacks and sanwiches or a full meal from a home cooked menu. Alternatively there is a picnic area in the grounds.
Prices will be £6.50 per person (this will be collected at Pease Pottage). The railway is an additional £1.00 per person (which will be payable at Bentley)
We are stricly limited to 22 cars so it is on a first come first serve basis

Seems like Jon & Belinda gave us a ‘Musical Theme’ for out day out at the ‘Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum’ it all started with…
Raindrops Keep Falling - Our meet up at Pease Pottage Services

Here Come the Sun - All lined up in our special parking area in front of the Motor Museum

Starlight Express - (The South East Special) Yes we are all kids at heart!

Happy Days Are Here Again - The Kids!

I’ve Got You Babe - Our Sonny & Cher!

Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - What a Show off he just waited until we are all watching and then!!!

Pretty Flamingo - looking healthy and ‘in the pink’

Yes! a great drive via the Ashdown Forest to the Bentley Museum, a wonderful day out, and a bonus was the display of classic cars from the ‘Southern Classic’ car club not forgetting the large display of classic cars, motorbikes, and sundries inside the Motor Museum.
Looks like you had a great day to spite the rain drops falling on your head,
oh dear I nearly broke out into song then![]()
