Good Morning
The Eastern Region are offering you the opportunity to go back in time to 1943 to visit the USAAF Station 374 at Bottisham.
The Museum was opened in 2009 to commemorate the sometimes forgotten role of the airfield at Bottisham in World War Two. It is the only UK museum dedicated to the Royal Air Force, United States 8th Army Air Force and Belgian Air Forces. Operating out of the last remaining airfield buildings to exist within the airfield’s original perimeter.
Current Aircraft on display are a North American P51D ‘Mustang’, A De Havilland Tiger Moth and an Avro Auster, (under re-construction) not to mention a Willy’s Jeep, Rolls Royce and Packard ‘Merlin’ Engines and hundreds of other unique items, all housed in extremelly well kept buildings.
A reception / shop, toilet facilities and the 'Flying Tractor Cafe complete the museum facilities.
We have agreed an exclusive parking space directly around the ‘square’, (which in this case is circular).
