Good Afternoon
If you like tucking into a hearty breakfast in a Country Pub in Norfolk, followed by a 75-90 minute drive along some of North Norfolk’s finest roads before ending up at The spectacular and unusual Stody Lodge Gardens, near Melton Constable, Norfolk, then this event is made for you.
The gardens are well-known for the sheer intensity of its planting’ together with a carefully planned riot of colour on a grand scale. Established in the 1920s, the garden is well known for its extensive collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, magnolias and camellias.
Covering an area the size of three football pitches and with over 2,000 plants, the Azalea Water Gardens are believed to be the largest single planting of azalea mollis in the country. The stunning reflections of orange, red and yellow azaleas in the lake’s water are proudly overseen by a magnificent Cedar of Lebanon – at least 150 years old.
