hi .Im in need of two new rear replacement brake calipers on my 1997 mx 5 mk 1 , Just seen on ebay MAZDA-AND-MITSUBISHI-SPARES are selling a pair {new} for £69.00,free p&p. just wondered if anyone else has purchased these ,if so are they any good? thanks andy

Give Shaftec a look www.shaftec.co.uk
They take your current Callipers as part exchange and I found the price reasonable.
Where are you based? You might be able to get them through a motor factor if shaftec don’t sell direct to the public

On the subject of brake calipers, I’ve had my ‘5’ for 3 1/2 years now and it’s never let me down, except having to have 3 new (recon) calipers and I’m pretty sure another one is starting to go now.
I was considering looking at ‘named’ alternatives of (hopefully) a better quality, such as Brembo.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
