Tried to fit new ebc red calipers onto 2017 ND RF but existing wheels don’t clear them. Interested if anyone has encountered this issue and recommendations on new wheels
You have two options:
- Wheel Spacers
Hub centeic bolt on affairs
Come in 15, 20 and 25mm for the ND (see MX5 Parts etc.) - Aftermarket wheels
Load of options
Most will clear the brakes
Standard wheel specs are 7Jx17 ET45 with a 4x100 bolt pattern and 54.1mm center bore
I run Advanti Racing Storm S1 wheels
Others have tried a variety (Koenig, OZ, etc.) hae a look and find a style you like, then find a manufacturer that hopefully does it in the sizes you need
Most aftermarket wheels will require hub centric rings to fille the gap between the aftermarket wheel and the OEM center bore
Did you not download the brake template?
Saw the brakes on a bank holiday deal so purchased and hoped they would fit. Tried the template before stripping down the existing and then found out. Any consolation is price has gone up considerably
