EBC Brakes and Discs ***Discount Code***

After recently having a service on my MX5 it was pointed out that I needed to replace the brakes (disc’s & pads) normal issues

I decided I would do this myself

I have look on loads of web sites to see what I could find and all the prices available

I soon decided on EBC were the ones I wanted

Best place I found was Brakes4U.co.uk

http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/index.asp

They have good prices and also free delivery unlike some other suppliers

I also used a promition discount code to give me some extra discount

discount code s060104j

I Have checked with them and they have confirmed that anyone in the MX-5 owners club can also use it for future order

I hope other find this helpful

Andrew

Just checked out this discount - It’s very small but it is a discount. Careful they imply you get 15% off BUT it’s actually 15% off the RETAIL PRICE. The item I checked - the discount was £2.36 on a £50 item…

BUT a discount is a discount… Big Smile so well found…

Interestingly, the price came out about the same as some of the other specialists, (including delivery and VAT) I checked this morning AND they sell other MX5 Parts too.

Good findThumbs up.  Incidently, what pad/disk combination have you gone for?

I went for the standard discs and the Ultimax pads

I have now fitted them and they are fine

If you drive slowly, ultimax pads are to dusty and fade way to easily imho:)

Now been driving with the new pads for sometime

No fade noticed

Bit of dust but no more than normal

Each to their own but definatley not up to oem standards imo, will be going aftermarket soon for something with a bit more bite and that doesn’t fade as soon as i lean on them a bit:)
