Hi I am thinking of getting the ECU remapped on my MK2, currently have 120K miles on the clock. I fitted a Typhon KN system to get better engine breathing and my next mod will be a fast flow exhaust system. Not sure how much improvement remapping will give/smoother power delivery etc? If any one lives in Hertfordshire and can recommend anyone I would be grateful.
Don’t think you can remap the original ecu but I could be wrong…
GOOGLE “ECU REMAP HERTS” and see what comes up?
Even if you find someone, you are going to get very little benefit with a petrol engine. If you want more power you will need higher revs.
