Guys - just wondering if anyone has a good independent MX5 specialist in Dorset to do this [relatively] simple job please. Don’t want to be paying main dealer rates!!
I used to use mx5 heaven in Charminster when I owned a mk2. Worth a try.
Unfortunately that “relatively simple” job is a complete PITA
The EGR on the mk3 is on the back of the cylinder head.
The wiper scuttle needs to come off as well as the bulkhead insert - just to get somewhere near it.
Agree plus if you change the body of the egr then be prepared to lose some engine coolant. When I had a problem with my egr I just changed the electrical part of the egr but still a pain to get too.
