The aerial just clicks, but doesn’t extend.
The local garage says it’s knackered (of course).
Two questions:-
Can you buy just the motor…?
Or can it be converted to a short rubber aerial.
The point is, I’m skint!
Its most likely the mast that needs replacing as the plastic gears at the bottom wear out.Mx5parts /Autolink do replacement masts or you could replace with rubber type aerial from motor shop vey cheaply We probably have good used mk2.5 aerial electric complete for sale
