Hello. Does anyone know of a folding electric bike which will fit in the boot of an MX5? Thank you.
Go online and get all dimensions when bike is folded seen lots of companies out there but without checking i am thinking none will fit in boot of any mx5 but thats a guess please keep us updated will help someone else 
A Brompton will almost certainly fit
A regular Brompton will just fit through the aperture with the seatpost removed, so an electric one should fit as the battery etc is dismountable. Not a cheap option though.

Brompton are expensive but are one of the best in folding bikes i would pop along to a bike shop who sells whichever make you choose and ask if can try to put in boot that is a definite way to know for sure 
unless a member on here has a photo of their folding bike in the mx5 boot
A few years ago I went to a shop in Cheltenham and tried to fit a Brompton in the boot of an NC. my experience is as follows:
It doesn’t fit and I do not know of a folding bicycle brands that does… A folding electric scooter, perhaps but they are not legal in the UK.
Cheltenham parking attendants are very eager to issue parking tickets and I was successful in obtaining one.

Dunno, in my PHRT the one I tried didn’t want to fit and I didn’t want to scratch anything so I aborted the attempt.
