I have one similar to this unbeatableoffers Car Tyre Puncture Emergency Repair Kit Flat Tire Tools Plug Tubeless : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive and have used it. It did the job and got us home and the tyre repair man was happy to do a proper repair as it did not ‘damage’ the tyre.
used these twice now both times had a screw in the tyre take the screw out and screw one of these in the second time I had it in the tyre for nine months no problems whatsoever never leaked at all and a bag of assorted sizes costs about £2

Can you let me know where the screws can be purchased look like a good bit of kit.
