Hi, I have just joined and am trying to enter my vehicle details, can someone please tell me how I can tell if my 1.8 is a BP or L8 engine type?
What mark/year is your 5?
I believe that the NA and NB (mk1 and mk2) have the 1.8 BP while the NC (mk3) has the 1.8 L8.
Hi, it’s a 2013 Mk 3 so sounds like it’s a L8?
Yep, L8 for the NC, the code should be on your registration document.

Thanks for taking the time to put your car details in. How did you find the process (apart from the engine code issue)?
It was fine thanks, I just needed to check the paint code as well as I couldn’t find one on the car but remembered that Mazda sometimes don’t!
Where do you enter the details? I saw the request to do this in the magazine, but didn’t find where to enter them. No doubt muppetry on my part 
Click ‘Membership’ on the top navigation (blue bar) and then select ‘Vehicles’, sadly I can’t link directly to the ‘Vehicles’ tab.
