Engine lost all power and wont start

Me and my Dad have just bought a miata and 25 miles after we got it the engine lost all power and wont start?
The starter is burnt out, so we attempted a bump start but the engine wont fire at all, all electronics except the rev counter work but that doesn’t explain the car failing to fire. Any help would be appreciated thanks. :slight_smile:

If the starter is fried you have probably screwed up electrics. Check fuses first maybe the one to the fuel pump is a good start.

Cam belt snapped maybe. If the belt has snapped there will be no signal from the CAS so no spark and no signal to the rev counter. I’d replace the starter first to get that sorted and go from there.
