If you pull the fuel injector fuse out, it will stop you from flooding the engine. It is the 30amp PAL pink fuse in the engine bay fuse box furthest from the windscreen. [image]

The engine runs batch firing, otherwise known as wasted spark. Meaning cylinders 1&4 spark together. And 2&3 spark together. So, so long as 1&4 are connected to the right hand coil, and 2&3 are left hand coil, it will run correctly.

Sounds normal to me. One thing to check is whether the fuel pump is priming when you first turn the key to the ‘run’ position. The pump is under a panel behind the passenger seat. It should make a whirring sound for about a second to prime the fuel system before starting.
