I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Engine Warning Light
Hi, anybody in the Reading area have an OBD reader they would like to plug into my car before I order one please? Warning light came on yesterday although car still drives fine at the moment.
We sell a cheap obd tool, a shame you were not local to me, i could have supplied one for £15.
Oh wait, we are in lockdown, our trade counter is closed.
I got this one off Amazon, about £18, only used once on my daily driver but it told me exactly what the garage one had diagnosed.
Always handy to have.
Thanks, but stand down for now Harco; borrowed a basic bluetooth one earlier and got code P2009 - something to do with inlet manifold. Used the car a couple of times on short runs since then and still had warning light and then a few hours later I went out and the warning light had gone…
