Some time has gone by and I have an update… I did buy my own reader and the engine light has been returning every other month, to which I have just been clearing the error (p0420) .
However, I have brought a top O2 sensor and had it fitted around 2 months ago and so far the light has not returned… So the jury is out… It maybe fixed???

Ok… Not fixed… the light is back! I’ve had it out on a emissions tester and it’s completely out of wack… looks like the cat is dead again! Will be contacting go-perform.

Ok, looks like the problem is solved. Lower O2 sensor on the exhaust was broken. Replaced it 3 months ago and so far so good.
Cat has been checked and all good.
