Engine won't stop

I see lots of posts with regards engine not starting, but I’ve just been sat in the garage gassing myself with the opposite problem - pressing the start/stop button just causing the orange light on the button to toggle on and off but the engine kept running and dash remained lit. I had to purposely stall it in the end, after which the dash would then switch off via the button. Very weird. Not sure if it falls under engine or electrical…

Anyone else had this issue or have any idea of cause please?

Clutch switch damaged?

Could be I guess, will keep an eye on it and if it does it again it’ll be going back to the dealer…
