Just bought a 95 Eunos that has a Laserline Immobiliser that someone has bypassed to allow the car to run. No immo keys and no code noted in the handbook.
I will buy a replacement unit, has anyone carried out an old for new swap?

I would not mess in there.
If you live in a high crime area get one of those steering wheel dodas that the scum can see.
It could cause all sorts of hassle getting in behind the dashboard electrics.
