Eunos Roadster Insurance

I’m looking for insurance for an imported 1992 Eunos Roadster I have bought. It is a 1.6L manual. When I enter my registration into most sites, I get a selection of various “Mazda MX-5” and “Mazda Eunos” but none that are specifically Eunos Roadster. Is the “Mazda Eunos” what I should be selecting? Any advice would be very helpful. I’ve attached an image of an example selection from moneysupermarket.

What does your V5 registration document say? That’s what I’d match up with, for your insurance search.

My old '93 NA Eunos S-Special, imported here in 2002, said ‘Mazda MX-5’ on the V5.

Also check with a few specialists for insurance, such as Footman James.

I always got much better policies with brokers like this, compared with the usual comparison sites.

You may have to try a specialist anyway, most ‘high street’ insurers will baulk at a 30 year old car anyway!

Use Mazda Eunos Cabriolet

@DAN_ADRIAN_FLUX may be able to guide you, we use Adrian Flux for our 1992 eunos based kit car and always had a good experience with them. This is not an endorsement just that I have seen them post on here. As always it pays to shop around.

I used to be with Adrian Flux, but they were found wanting in the event of a claim. Essentially forgot my car was at a bodyshop awaiting a loss adjustor for 3 weeks.

I renew with Hastings annually for my 93 Roadster.

Never had an issue.

Hi.
Please feel free to drop me a line if you need any help with insurance at all. We can cater for all models regardless if they appear on official database listings.
Regards,
Dan.

Dan,
Can you tell me what insurance group you would give a eunos v spec 1992? I have one insured with you at present but was just interested in the group rating. Thanks David
