I am pretty sure you referred to the world rankings in an earlier post and also to quality of the opposition as not being grade A, I am just saying that any team in the top 20 rankings could win in a tournament of this format it’s about building momentum as for meeting a better team that’s where the luck comes into play and it can pop up in so many unsuspecting ways

Neither Denmark, Switzerland, Ukraine or Sweden will win Euro 2020.
All set for today’s main event! Bar stocked up, bunting flying, a TV and sky mini box getting rigged up outside for the actual match, half time pizza sorted, shame I’m on my own!

Weather forecast up North is quite reasonable so should be a good get together 
TBH, the garden looks bigger than it actually is in the pics but we’ve sort of got a place for everything now ‘bijou & compact’ I think an estate agent would say!

I’ve been “watching” the matches on the BBC text “Live Commentary” on my laptop as I don’t have a TV or the required licence, and after yesterday’s matches (which will probably end up being the best of the tournament) I’d probably have had a seizure. Awesome set up there Barrie. Seen it all before but never ceases to impress.
Roger, go on to the BBC iPlayer and watch it there. The chances of you getting caught is so close to zero that it’s not worth worrying about. There were a few vans going around with rotating roof racks a few years ago but not any more. While they do have a few ‘enforcement officers’ going around all they do is knock on the door and ask if you watch TV. They may ask to come in and check but unless they have a search warrant from a magistrate you are within your rights to say no. There are probably thousands of households with aerials and Sky dishes and TVs in every room watching without a license. They are the ones that will be targetted. Unless you go out and buy a TV from a retailer you will not even be on their radar. You are far more likely to get caught doing 31 in a 30 limit than watching one footie match on your laptop. Go on pal, be a rebel!
P.S. I do have a TV license and don’t condone serial offenders.

Fantastic result. Onwards and upwards. Great result for the country. Of course, not meaning to offend any Englishmen who find anything remotely positive regarding their country as being highly insulting.

More a case of know, rather than reckon.
However, I’ve also got a heart and, as everyone knows, am very modest. Hence the last thing I would want to do is make people feel even more inferior by accurately predicting who will win it.
