EURO 2020 Football - Remarkable Denmark..!

You bottled out!!!

Jokes aside i wouldn’t put money on who will eventually win it. Other than Denmark won’t, and I’d be surprised if Spain did either.

England just gone 1 up in 3 mins :kissing_heart:

Fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes, everything crossable is crossed!

4-0, England rampant

Bring on the Danes on Wednesday :yum:

The Danish romance will be over.

Like your boy Nder said it would

Well it worked! Great result! The only problem is that I’m having to type this with my…nose!

Let’s hope Denmark stop being remarkable on Wednesday. Turned into everyone’s favourites after the Erikson incident. Would have been nice to meet them in the final.

England beating Denmark will be as obvious an outcome as NickD mentioning Kumho tyres in a tyre reply.

Italy, if they beat Spain, in the final will/would be a much tougher call.

Our son has been getting into the mood, someone asked for this to be done…

Morning Rob! I’m waiting to see what R2D2, the predicting sausage dog, picks? He got Italy right yesterday by going for the Lasagne but not sure what foods will tempt him for selecting tonight’s winner? Quite scientific really! :joy::joy:

I was wanting Spain to win last night as I think Italy are a tough team to break down. It was looking on for Spain to win.
I was getting carried away just like Rio Ferdinand, but I said hey wait. I’m talking like England will beat Denmark?
Dangerous talk, it’ll be tough but the best chance ever of actually winning something :+1:

Tonight will answer this thread title even more! Denmark have grown in to this tournament for reasons well known, and will be no pushover… Hoping for a good game tonight and a 2-1 England win…!

I wouldn’t say they’ve been ‘remarkable’: Losing to Finland, one of only 2 third place sides who didn’t make it through, losing to albeit a decent Belgium, defeated a poor Wales side and beating an average (at best) Russian side and Czech Rep side.

They had an easy path which ends tonight.

This was good at an earlier press conference. Kasper Schmeichel saying “Has it ever been home”?!

Unfortunately he is right. The championship started in 1955 and England have never won it.
Even more reason to do just that!

The football’s just went in the in the back of his net, so it’s coming somewhere.
Any roads, wonder if he’s aware of the real meaning of ‘it’s coming home’, as maybe he’d know it means football coming home as in back to it’s ‘spiritual home’, as England were (1996) hosts- ‘it’s coming home’ as in football’s come home to back to where it was created. That in itself was controversial as football being created in England is open to dispute.

Into extra time. England dominating the game. They’ve bossed it, except for a 20 min period in the first half.
England will be unlucky if they don’t go through.
Denmark have been playing for penalties for the last half hour.

We’ve only gone and won it
