I’ve planned the Alpenstrasse into this 3000 mile trip but I’ve heard very little about it. Has anyone done it and what did you think?
I hope this is not too late, but I’ve driven the Alpenstrasse several times in a Caterham, It’s one of my favourite roads,there are some great twisty sections, the road surface is generally very good and the scenery is fantastic, there are also plenty of places to get great food along the way.
