European Breakdown Insurance

Hi, anybody got any recommendations re European Breakdown Insurance? Travelling through Spain at the end of the month.
Regards Glenn

ADAC used to be the best, but will now only cover German Citizens

I use Driver Guardian because they cover my Eunos (1993) and my ND for UK and European breakdown.

Green Flag. I used them for France pre Covid.

Hi everybody, thank you for your advice. Decided to go with Eversure as they can provide just European Cover plus trips greater than 31 days. Also the price was good.

Honest John did a review of European breakdown companies (see 1st link below) and StartRescue.co.uk came out very well (see 2nd link below). I will be giving them ago if our Austria trip goes ahead, hopefully!

I recently opened a nationwide flexplus account, £12/13/m but comes with full AA breakdown/recovery cover, including EU, phone and travel insurance. Worked out the cheapest for me overal.

Hi Mehty, I have a Platinum Account with Lloyds and thought it covered Europe. Not any more. They have also reduced the maximum trip for Holiday Insurance to 31 days. I have looked at Nationwide but did not meet their medical criteria which in turn pushed the monthly cost up.

Hi.
Please feel free to take a look at our breakdown offering if you wish.

Dan.

Thanks for the info Dan. Will definitely consider next renewal although the maximum trip length of 60 days in a year may be a issue.
