'Event' tyre - is it a good brand?

I’ve got a pair of Event tyres on the front of my car.

Unfortunately I’ve got a slow puncture in one of them… if I need to replace it, where can I buy another one? I thought it might be something to do with http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/ but there’s nothing on their site that refers to an ‘own brand’ tyre.

Has anyone got any experience of them, and are they any good?

I think these are the people you want

http://www.eventtyres.com/

Yup, thanks for that. I can’t find a decent looking website to quote me a price on a new one.
Would I be making a mistake on mixing tyre manufacturers on my front axle? I might buy another Pirelli P6000 if I can’t get this fixed.

This argument has raged before, personally I wouldn’t mix makes on the same axle, I won’t even mix makes/specs on the same car!! You must get different performance from the tyres as the  tread patterns are not the same. If you need one tyre then match it to the other side.

I e mailed Event and asked for a UK supplier, this was the reply

Thanks Geoff, I can nip down to Aylesbury easily enough - my sister-in-law is there.

I’m going to get the tyre checked and the valve replaced to see if that’ll fix it. I can’t really afford two new tyres right now - so a replacement Event would be my preferred option if the tyre is knackered.

edit: My local F1 Autocenter, which has always done me a good job at a good price, can get hold of these for me
