Could someone give me some advice on the following please?
After a gentle brush with a Speed Bump, my exhaust has started to blow from the joint behind the first silencer (?).
Hopefully this doesn’t mean part replacement and it is reparable with a bracket and gum, but perhaps someone could let me know if this is possible or if it is a specialist job?
Maybe this below could do the job?

The pipe went inside the silencer and was then welded to it - hence the brittle weak spot where the edge of the welding is. The pipe is about 64mm diameter and the silencer is about 70mm.
It can be re-welded - if the pipe is not too thin and rusty.
I’ve also seen one of these ‘universal’ clamp fittings used before now. This one claims to have almost the correct dimensions, with the two different diameters to accommodate the usual joint build. Liberal use of Gungum under the clamp and around the well-wire-brushed blow point will help.
It might still need a bit of fiddling, but should be strong enough
ours was like that and welded by a local garage for £40 cash. No problems since and was also OK for MOT.
It did sound brill and growly BUT the neighbours thought I was a local boy racer and so it had to be welded!
