Hello all,

I have a March 1997 Mk1 Mx5. I am going to fix a cubby box , but the one I have does not have the screw holes in. Am I right in thinking there are 4 phillip screws that hold in the blanking plate and these secure the cubby box. Also on this plate currently, I have the head light adjuster, could this be repositioned? To get to the 4 screws has the centre console got to be removed.

Hi mate. I’m going to be doing the very same thing soon. My own s to relocate the headlight adjuster to one of the blank switches to the right of the steering column. Those are the same size/type of switch so should look good there. 

If your handy with the soldering iron like me, job should be a doddle.
