faded paintwork on red 1989 Eunos Roadster

I’ve had this beauty nearly two years and love it to bits.  Came to me in poor condition and I’ve done my best.

When I first got the car I used a polisher to both t-cut and buff up and it looked good.  However, since then, I can’t seem to get a decent shine and t-cutting doesn’t seem to help much.

Also I have been unable to remove the ‘image’ of the stick on number plate no matter how hard I try.

Maybe I’m a mong?  Anyone got any ideas?

By the way, I’m in Stockport

Some things cant be removed from paintwork as it eats into the surface.

ive seen a few with suntan lotion finger marks on the door edges and the boot.

It embeds its eself into the paint.

You could try a brake cleaner or full degrease before trying to plish it it out with T cut or something similar
