How cool is that!?!?

I’m only in Dunfermline and I’ve yet to go see the damn thing. !!

Very impressive.  Thumbs up

I’m not a Scot, in fact I have never travelled north of the border in the 42 years that I have been on this planet. I’m still impressed though. My dad has some friends in Falkirk and he brought me a leaflet from The Wheel when he visited a couple of years ago.

I am very keen to visit Scotland sometime soon. I have a (un)healthy interest in the Speyside distilleries.

Impressive piece of engineering, love it—

The
Falkirk Wheel is pretty impressive. Speciality as it uses a
ridiculously small amount of power to turn it. If memory serves
correctly it is something like the equivalent of a three bar electric
fire.

However,
I personally find the original more impressive.

When I was there a few years back I think it was ‘less than it takes to boil your kettle’ [to power it]

It is only the friction that it has to overcome, so if they’re tight with the 3-in-1 then it will be more [:)]
