Fast & Furious : Tokyo Drift

On ITV1.  Not the greatest film but some nice cars and good drifting.  No MX5s though Sad

It certainly isn’t!

Which gives me an idea for a new thread…

A poor film, but with some slick tyre smoking driving with engines bouncing off the rev limiter, so that alone kept me watching it until the end Smile

I fell asleep in that film… one of the worst car films I’ve ever seen.

Cheers,

Drew.

I loved the first film! There is a rumor that the car owners were real members of an illegal club.

Great film and some VERY nice cars. Watched it for the millionth time. Not as good as the first, but still good.

The first was the better of this series of documentaries.

I, too, watched this for the erm well lots of times the other night.

I love the first film too- Vin Diesel after allWink

But I also love drifting and use this like an instruction manual on how to make my 5 drift more!!!

If you’re using the film to learn to drift take a good hard look at the state of the car after he first tries drifting.

The level of damage from a bit of car park practice is one of the more realistic parts of the film.

LOL a fair point Captain Muppet!! Ok as an instruction on not to drift round carparks, or indeed anywhere else that might damage my little Eric’s precious paintwork!!!

Have a look at this thread: http://www.mx5oc.co.uk/forum/forums/t/16703.aspx

Kevallen’s drift MX5 is immaculate, and that’s where he does his practicing. Beginer friendly too.

If you like the film check out this;

My dad brought an RX7 and a year and £30k later had one nice looking motor. Think he just wanted to put me Rex to shame lol

Mine:

Unfortunatly as he moved house and no longer had a double garage (The car is VERY wide) he had to sell it on but as it went to a well known rx7 owner on the rotary forums at least its gone to a loving home lol
