Faux Leather Seat covers

Hi Guys

has anyone had experience of the Faux leather seat covers as supplied by the “Car Trimmers” they sound very good in in the advert and much cheaper than leather.

Any info greatly appreciated

My only experience of fake leather seat covers was getting into a friends car with them fitted, In summer, In shorts ! I nearly lost the skin off the back of my legs. :slight_smile:

I have just ordered seat covers, door trims and gaiter set in faux leather.  I was very impressed with the customer service (Sammie).  I was sent samples of the colours and all my questions and special requests were met with confidence.  I am looking forward to receiving my new interior!  I’ll let you know how it is.  I think its actually leatherette (bits mashed up, coloured and then lined) it smells like leather.  And for the price . . . .its a bargain.

I have been in touch with Sammie, now it remains for me to chat my wife up! well it is nearly xmas and my birthday is 6th of Jan, again thanks to all who responded, (hope the hot legs are ok now!!!)

I have a very nice b/friend, fitted me a new mohair hood so i’m sure the seats will be easy!!!  I’ll let you know what they are like.

Sorry sorry sorry . . . . I have received my new interior and it’s fab . . . . still waiting for it to be fitted! Hopefully should be done within the next week or so. . . . had a few car drama’s that needed to be sorted so the seats have had to wait.  Will post pics and comments when complete.

I have a set from the car trimmers, awesome quality and perfect fit!!!
Fitting is pretty straight forward. I used cable ties instead of re-using the metal rings and everything seems fine.
Could easily be done in a few of hours.

hi nicola just fitted mine took few hours just needed long nose pliers for hog rings phillips screwdriver and socketset just take your time and its easy
